Strength and function are the design elements of the receiving pit. It is constructed with concrete, heavy duty beams, and round pipe capable of supporting 18 wheelers or tractor hauled trailers.  All components of ‘The Pit’ are designed to withstand the rigors of the process.  From the mud, sticks, rocks and leaves that come along with the walnuts from the field, our custom built Pits can handle it all.
